Casa RealFood Ministry

Once per month, we are blessed to be able to provide needed food for our neighbors and friends at Casa Real housing. We have cooperating funding contributed from our partner churches. This funding, along with our FBC offerings, allows us to feed those in need and share the love of Christ with community.

Global Hunger Relief of the SBC

As a Southern Baptist Church, we are part of a larger mission to feed the hungry. We partner with churches from around the nation to support strategic efforts to feed the hungry.

Established in 1978 as the World Hunger Fund, Global Hunger Relief is an initiative of the Southern Baptist Convention dedicated to combating hunger and sharing the Bread of Life.  

GHR funds are used in Gospel-centered hunger projects that share God’s love in both word and deed.

GHR-funded projects meet crisis hunger needs in famine or natural disasters, but also focus on long-term, sustainable solutions to end chronic hunger, such as: 

-      Job skills training
-      Livestock and seed distribution
-      Clean water
-      Home reconstruction
-      Medical care
-      Aftercare for human trafficking victims
